Maggi Kelly, professor of environmental science, policy and management at the University of California, Berkeley, studies the drivers, patterns and consequences of environmental change across California's spatially complex, socially diverse and dynamic landscapes using integrated geospatial tools.
Kelly will speak about how mapping technology and geospatial tools can be used to identify changes in California's environmental landscape, and how these tools can provide insights for scientists, lawmakers and the California public to address critical environmental challenges.
