Highly participatory mural painting. Essentially a very large stencil on the wall of Mead directly facing GBP. There will be lots of paints and brushes (and other devices) and the only rule is these brushes cannot directly touch the wall. Paint must be hurled and splashed and sprayed so that solely energy and direction can be distilled from those who wish to connect themselves to the mural. Once wall is covered with paint stencil will be pulled back to reveal a unifying structure within the negative space revealed via participants efforts. This is a continuation of the Magnolia Ave Mural Project trying to continue to strengthen the creative relationship between public art in downtown LA and public art and artists at Pitzer. The more people the better. If you haven't yet, this is your chance to take part in a Pitzer mural and it only has to take as much time as you want it to take.
