    In this two day workshop taught by Travis Columbus, Ph.D., participants will be instructed on the vegetative and reproductive features of grasses (Poaceae). A field trip to the Santa Rosa Plateau is planned for the afternoon of Sunday.

    The choirs and orchestra of the Joint Music Program of Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer and Scripps colleges, in collaboration with the Chamber Choir of Chaffey College and guest soloists, will perform Mozart's renowned "Requiem in D minor." Left unfinished upon his premature death but ultimately completed by his pupils, Mozart's Requiem is considered to be one of the masterworks of the choral/symphonic repertoire.
